According to a 2019 article in Harvard Business Review, with a series of contributing authors, “Social belonging is a fundamental human need, hardwired into our DNA. And yet, 40% of people say that they feel isolated at work, and the result has been lower organizational commitment and engagement. In a nutshell, companies are blowing it. U.S. businesses spend nearly 8 billion dollars each year on diversity and inclusion (D&I) trainings that miss the mark because they neglect our need to feel included.”

Tre has over 20 years’ experience as an urban planner, social impact leader, and consultant. She has worked in leadership across sectors and in many industries. As founder & principal of a Black woman-owned management consulting firm, Tre is passionate about strengthening organizational infrastructure and leadership capacity to define long-term sustainability.
